Workout Welcome

Hello everyone, so for over a year I have had people asking me to post about yoga, workout, health and food in a blog, and I tried- once! And it didn't really fall through, I was not in a place where I could really commit to it, but now I feel ready- so here we go! I'll be posting about anything from 'himmel till jord' which translates to "heaven to earth" from Swedish. I was for in the fashion industry for many years so I will also use this as an outlet to go back to my roots, I guess we can call this a Lifestyle blog :).

So on my Instagram the other day I posted a little workout video and told you guys about how my mom, sister and I use a training program to feel more connected, living exactly 5,468 miles away from them(!), this is the program for this week if you guys want to take part.

Set

  • 15 Squats
  • 10 Pushups 
  • 20 Back Exercises 
  • 20 Core Exercises 

We are doing this set for 3 repetitions this week and every week we will switch up the sets and repetitions, trying to progress about 10% a week. What's great is that it's easy to modify with less or more reps or add to some of the exercises. For example, while it might be hard to do 10x3 pushups, while you should still do them, but to prevent yourself from getting burnt out and loose your motivation, you can do part of your pushups on your knees. It's always better to do modifications than to not do the exercise at all, same thing goes when I teach yoga and aerial. If you never do them because they are too hard, or you just do the bare minimum without pushing yourself, then you will never progress. Our bodies need to work and feel the challenge, but the challenge is different is for every person. It's up to each and everyone of us to know and feel when our body wants a challenge, and when you are pushing it too hard or too little to get a good result, but only you can feel that so be honest to yourself. 

Now don't forget to fuel your body before and after every workout with clean and wholesome food. A good eating habit is essential for a good metabolism, I will talk more about this subject for another post :).
