TED Talks Favorites

I might have a slight obsession with watching Ted Talks on YouTube. It's actually quite addicting...
Before you know it, you've been sitting there for hours watching one after another, BUT there no other way I would like to spend my free time. I rather learn from others than mindlessly scrolling through social media feeds (although I get very inspired by people there as well), or watch reality tv shows, or play Candy Crush (yup that's one of my addictions as well), one that I am not that proud of I might add!

Anyhow, I decided I would share some of my favorites every Monday, one for each day maybe? Or maybe just knock them all out in one day. They are short and sweet and I promise you will at least, if not be left feeling inspired, have learned something new today.

My philosophy for a happy life, Sam Berns - Probably one of my favorite Ted Talks. Sam talks about how he was born with obstacles but chooses to focus on what he CAN do, instead of what he can't. A great lesson for many of us.

The Surprising Habits of Original Thinkers, Adam Grant - The title speaks for itself, and add some laughs to his decisions and personality that he talks about!

Still figuring it out, Tavi Gevinson - This teenage girl got her shit together, and it just takes a few minutes to forget that she's a teen. A successful entrepreneur. She talks about feminism, figuring yourself out, inspiring people without giving them set directions on what to do, so they can figure out what's right for them. Smart girl.

The danger of a single story, Chimamanda Adichie - An author who's using wit and humor to talk about the danger of a "single story", of judgement and presumptions of others.

Falling in love is the easy part, Mandy Len Catron - Mandatory love talk that won't disappoint and will leave you interested and intrigued.

Looks aren't everything. Believe me, I'm a model. Cameron Russell - Cameron talks about our superficial world, how "good looks" can make you get away with things and insecurities.

Overcoming hopelessness, Nick Vujici - Ending this list with a big one! Get ready to feel worthy, valuable, inspired and teary-eyed at the same time.

Do you have any Ted Talks or inspiring stories you would like to share? Or any certain topics you are interested in? I would be very happy if you would share them with me, so please comment below!
